The Amherst Players is proud to present its 60th Anniversary Season. Our 60th season is filled with a variety of theatre styles and moods – from rock-n-roll crazed teenagers of the 1950’s in Grease, to the cool, darkness of an Appalachian mountain night in Dark of the Moon Like a diamond in the dark, theatre’s full value isn’t realized until it has been cut, polished and brought into the light. We would like to take this opportunity to recognize all those who have helped cut and polish this particular diamond over the last 60 years. Whether you sat in our audience, performed on stage or created your magic backstage, you are the ones who have made these past 60 years possible.
For our 60th Anniversary we want to say “thank you” to everyone who has ever been a part of the Amherst Players. Without you we wouldn’t be here. So . . . Thank you and please share your love of community theatre with everyone you know so that one day we’ll be celebrating our 120th anniversary.
